Guardianship Program
At Ontario Puppy Boutique, we are dedicated to raising healthy, happy, and well-socialized
puppies while maintaining the highest standards of ethical breeding. Our Guardianship
Program is an opportunity for families to provide loving, permanent homes for our breeding
dogs while supporting our mission to produce exceptional puppies.
This program ensures that our breeding dogs live as cherished pets in a home environment
while contributing to the next generation of responsibly raised puppies. We prioritize the
well-being of every dog in our care and work closely with our guardian families to make the
experience smooth, rewarding, and mutually beneficial.
1. Puppy Placement (2-4 Months)
Puppies selected for the program meet our high standards for health, temperament,
and breed quality.
We carefully match each puppy with a qualified guardian family prepared to provide
a safe and nurturing home.
2. Development and Growth (2 Months – 1.5 Years)
• Guardians care for the puppy as they grow, focusing on training, socialization, and
building good manners.
• Routine vaccinations, deworming, and health checks are fully covered by Ontario
Puppy Boutique.
• Regular grooming is required and can be done at Ontario Puppy Boutique or through
an approved groomer.
• Puppies transition into adulthood after their first heat.
3. Breeding Period (1.5 – 4/5 Years)
Once physically and mentally mature, the dog will be bred 1-3 times during this phase.
Guardians bring the dog to Ontario Puppy Boutique for breeding, with all related care
handled by us.
Between litters, the dog lives full-time with the guardian family.
4. Retirement (5/6 Years and Beyond)
• When the breeding period concludes, full ownership is transferred to the guardian
family at no cost.
• Ontario Puppy Boutique covers spaying or neutering to ensure a smooth retirement.
• The dog continues to spend the rest of their life as a beloved family pet.
What We Provide
All routine veterinary care, including vaccinations, deworming, and health checks.
Premium kibble for the duration of the program.
Microchipping and health testing related to breeding.
Monthly pet insurance during the program.
Spaying or neutering costs upon retirement.
